A.3 Piezoelectric Transducers
PhD Student:
The project A.3 will continue the development of piezoelectric transducers based on the results from the first period of the PhD program. The focus is now on transducers for broadband or impact-type vibrations. In this context new materials, transducer designs and fabrication technologies have to be investigated to convert aperiodic and large scale motions into electrical energy. Possible applications could be in the field of human worn electronics as well as in environment monitoring.
