Application Information

Your application should be submitted to the speaker of the PhD Program as well as to the secretary and the advisor of the position you apply. It is expected that you submit your application both electronically and as a hardcopy. PDF files of your application should be sent as email attachment. A hardcopy should be sent to the speaker of the PhD Program:

Please enclose in your application


  • a cover letter stating your interests and why you think micro energy harvesting is important,
  • your curriculum vitae,
  • your degree certificates and study transcripts with a description of the grading scheme,
  • an abstract (maximum ½ page) of your diploma or masters thesis,
  • a list of your publications, if available,
  • addresses of two potential references and, if available, letters of recommendation,
  • a tangible proof of your fluency in English, if available.

 

Recruiting Procedure


We will collect all applications. If you are selected as a potential candidate, you will be invited for a job interview in front of a selection committee. The job interview will include:

  • an oral scientific presentation (20 minutes) given by you on a subject of your choice,
  • an interview to gain a deeper understanding of your knowledge and motivation,

Based on the results of this interview, the selection committee will make a final decision on your enrollment within the PhD Program.
