Scientific environment
Freiburg, the capital of solar energy in Germany, is excellent suited to implement the benefits of regenerative energy supplies to micro-scale devices. The internationally recognized research and modern infrastructure of IMTEK, FMF and FhG-ISE, in combination with the oustanding support from the University of Freiburg and the industrial partner allow for an efficient research in the PhD program GRK1322. The networking is promoted by regular research seminars with a accompanying industry forum.
